Les Chemins du Pain

Context

Les Chemins du Pain is an organic artisan bakery based in Cauneille, in the Landes, since 2013. Natural sourdough, stone-ground flours, a slow 24-hour fermentation: a demanding craft spread across the Cauneille bakehouse, the Port de Lanne shop and the Dax market, and noticed as far as the French TV show "La Meilleure Boulangerie de France" on M6. That craft deserved more than a single page: a website that tells its story and brings customers to the shops.

Approach

I built the site with Nuxt around three narratives: the house philosophy, the sourdough starter (its "living treasure") and the points of sale. The design borrows the bakehouse colours, with full-width photos of ovens and loaves. On the practical side, an interactive Leaflet map presents each shop with its opening hours and personality, completed by a contact form and a recruitment section.

Result

A showcase faithful to the craft it represents: warm, restrained and useful. Customers find the nearest shop and its hours in seconds, the bakery tells its trade in its own words, and the TV appearance now has a page to point curious visitors to.
